Clown Therapy

Overview

This game was made using Godot 4 by the awesome RadicalGames™ team for our second game jam: "Global Game Jam 2024".

In this game, you play as a clown just trying to do his job.
Kids nowadays only find violence entertaining... but still, you need that paycheck.
Do whatever it takes to make that pesky child laugh.

There are 2 main gauges that dictate the game over:

• Health
  • Bottom of the screen
  • Replenishes by a fixed amount after every wave
  • Game over if it reaches 0
• Fun
  • Left of the screen
  • The sadistic child loves when anyone (clown included) gets hurt
  • While kept over a certain threshold, the clown receives a buff
  • If it reaches 0, the kid dies from boredom

The game is not infinite: there's a finite amount of carefully handcrafted waves.
